About Juliet
Juliet Schwalbach is a Seattle-based ceramic artist whose work explores the tension between order and wildness — geometry and instinct, structure and softness.
Her reliefs and sculptural forms layer glaze, texture, and pattern to capture moments of transformation. Moths, grids, and petals appear again and again — recurring motifs that trace cycles of growth, loss, and renewal.
Her surfaces carry fingerprints and tool marks; she leaves evidence of her hand as a quiet resistance to perfection. Each piece invites pause, asking the viewer to look closely, to feel the rhythm of repetition, and to find stillness inside motion.
